10/14/25 Update: ThriftyCam now includes a locking USB-C cable by default. TTB-0243 is the specific cable that is included.
2-26 Update: ThriftyCam is now pre-installed with an 80 degree lens.
The ThriftyCam utilizes the OMNIVISION OG02B1B B&W CMOS 2 Megapixel (1600x1304) Global Shutter Image Sensor with OmniPixel®3-GS Technology. At full resolution, the camera will present 60 frames per second over USB 3.0.
For maximum performance, we recommend using it with a USB 3.0 or higher port on a coprocessor such as an Orange Pi 5 (2 per SBC) or a Jetson Orion module (up to 5 per SBC). The Camera comes with a USB C connector and is fully UVC-compliant at USB 3.0.
The ThriftyCam comes in a machined aluminum case with a USB 3.0 A to C cable. The case is compatible with the Thrifty Locking USB C to C cables.
The Case allows for easy mounting with two tapped 10-32 holes spaced 2" apart.

All ThriftyCams undergo final assembly and QC testing in Lapeer, Michigan.
